I think someone asked before, but where can this bakeable porcelain glaze be purchased?

What a fantastic idea! Where can you purchase the glaze?

I'm sure so many of us who read this blog religiously would LOVE to have a tutorial on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you eat off the plates once this is done, or are they for decoration only???? PLEASE TUTOR US LOL. Bakeable glaze?

Wow, I needed to see this to motivate my at home "plate project". Just blogged [on your birthday] about your office...it started with your first blog entry and went on to reveal the final product of your office and the amazing plates you made. They have been such an inspiration!

Your talent is remarkable. Thank you for sharing it with us.

tell me how!!!

I'm also curious if you can eat off them (and wash them).

I saw the tail end of an episode of "Get Crafy" that Danny was on, and they did this project.

I don't know if they mentioned where the glaze can be purchased (I missed most of the show) but I do remember that he mentioned...

- the plates should be hand washed
- you can definitely eat off them, but it would be best not to eat hot food off these plates

Oops...that should be "She's Crafty" not..."Get Crafty"

Danny, thanks for a great time in Boston... you are terrific!

Where can you get the glaze? I've searched the web & I can't find anything about porcelain glaze. I hope I find it soon because I'm hosting a party this weekend! Thanks!!

I found this off Dick Blick, but I don't know if it's the same thing.

Well? I think I found it! Here is my best guess at finding the glaze....

Thanks for the "how to" links about this - I love doing my own patterns but never really got the knack of glazing - or at least not well enough to make it stay on the plate after all my "arty" stuff. Here's to a new leaf in my plate making days :o)
