Book Table
What a great idea this is. I was looking at bedding at MACY's in New York City and saw this sitting next to a bed: a stack of books bound together with belts to make a sidetable.
I am totally making this for my living room. I just returned from Goodwill where I bought two 44" leather belts. The sales clerk said, "are these for you?" And not thinking she meant ME TO WEAR, I said, "yes, these are for me." You can not believe the stares I got from the sales clerk.

Hahahahaha, I do that all the time! [get strange looks for a strange answer]
What a great idea. I've got tons of books that don't fit very well into their bookshelves *ahem* and could always use another sidetable ...

I love that idea. We better not all do it or it won't be fun anymore. I'll do it and you can do it but no one else. Hear that folks? The cap is on.

thats a great idea, but I can just see my 3 three year old somehow pulling books out, just another fun challenge for him!

Another great idea especially since our bookshelves will be full soon.

Love that! You could make it thematic by topic - all plant tomes, perhaps? Or by color.

Hi Danny
I've been a fan of yours since I picked up your book a few months ago at my local bookstore. I believe that buying with a conscience and using natural, environmentally friendly products are the way for the future. I loved the idea which you gave in your book of using old compact powder cases as casings for DIY solid perfume. Your ideas are fresh and turn the old into new. Thanks for all the great ideas ... your fan from Malaysia.

Ah….the sweet, smell of perfume! Today's market is flooded with hundreds and hundreds of different fragrances ranging
from floral to woodsy. Most women love the smell of perfume, wearing it even when going to the grocery store. The problem
is that perfume allergy for some women, is anything but nice.

We've a stack of encyclopedias from 1976 - doubled - to make a nice, sturdy end table in our living room. The best part is that we can adjust the size (no belts) to suit our needs at the time. :)
