Coffee Scrub
This morning, as I brewed a cup of organic, fair trade coffee at home, I thought...what can I do with these old coffee grinds?
I scooped some in my hand, pumped a little liquid soap too, and scrubbed away. My hands have never looked better. The grinds actually buffed the dead skin away and I swear the caffeine did something, too. The leftover grinds went to the compost bin outside.
Just a quick tip: give it a try.... I think you'll be amazed too.
I have let use grinds dry and then mix them into melt and pour soap, the bar is great for garlicy or stained hands.
Thank you for sharing you awesome job and home, I really enjoy it!

Yes, I keep the morning grinds handy so that if I'm mincing garlic for dinner, I can use them to eliminate the garlic oil and odor from my fingertips.

I save the little bits of soap that are left over from the original bars, melt them together and mix in the used coffee grounds. I then let it harden and cut it into smaller blocks. I keep one bar in the utility room for after gardening, and I stash other bars in the bathrooms for those days when we've all gone barefoot and need a little extra scrubbing power on the piggy-toes!

They give you coffee beans to sniff between perfumes to clear your nose of the previous scent.
I finally kicked my coffee habit last year. Now I drink Genmaicha, Rooibos or Green Sencha with some rose petals. I always leave some to splash on my face and hands.
It's great for your skin.

the caffeine also helps to tighten and firm the skin - rubbing coffee grinds on your thighs can help minimize the appearance of cellulite too!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I use his every day For a stronger scrub, apply dry grinds to wet skin... also it's best to massage toward the heart and to use circular motions.

I use fresh coffee grinds in the shower. Use liquid soap and mix about a tablespoon of coffee grinds with the soap and rub in circular motions on legs to help get rid of cellulite. Also I place firming lotion mix it with some fresh coffee grinds rub into legs and then I wrap my legs with reylonds wrap. Sit down to keep legs warm and leave on for about 30min then rinse off!! It helps shed inches and remove cellulite.

I wonder if you can mix it with glycerin or something like that to make more of a gel scrub?

You can combine coffee grounds with white glycerin soap to make bars of coffee soap.
